Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Staff Member at Re-Fresh Montreal, your duties may include:
General Cleaning & Sanitation
- Performing thorough and detail-focused cleaning of all designated areas including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Maintaining the cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms at client locations, including the complete sanitizing of fixtures, appliances, countertops, sinks, toilets, showers, and all frequently touched surfaces
- Cleaning and wiping down all hard surfaces, furniture, appliances, mirrors, windows, and other areas as specified in the client’s cleaning plan or service checklist
- Ensuring all cleaned areas are left in a spotless, fresh, and welcoming condition that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations upon completion of each visit
Laundry & Linen Services
- Handling laundry tasks accurately and efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and neatly organizing clothing, linens, towels, and other fabric items as required by the client’s service plan
- Managing laundry duties with care and attention to fabric types, washing instructions, and client preferences to ensure all items are returned in excellent condition
- Organizing clean laundry and linens neatly in designated storage areas, closets, or rooms as directed by the client or team supervisor
- Monitoring laundry supplies such as detergent and fabric softener and reporting low stock levels to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
Equipment & Supply Management
- Organizing, maintaining, and properly storing all cleaning supplies and equipment after each use, ensuring tools are in good working order and ready for the next assignment
- Using all cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment safely and in accordance with health and safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines at all times
- Monitoring the condition and stock levels of cleaning supplies and reporting needs or equipment concerns to the team leader or company management promptly
- Keeping the company’s cleaning kits, caddies, and supply bags organized and fully stocked before departing for each client location
Customer Service & Client Satisfaction
- Providing excellent, friendly, and professional customer service by actively addressing client needs, listening to preferences, and ensuring complete satisfaction during and after every cleaning visit
- Communicating courteously and professionally with clients in English — and in French where possible — to build positive, trust-based relationships that reflect Re-Fresh Montreal’s commitment to service excellence
