Routine Facility Cleaning
- Performing thorough and consistent routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment for each surface type and facility area
- Sweeping and mopping all floor surfaces — including hard floors, tiles, and vinyl — to a clean, streak-free, and well-maintained standard that meets SD Pro Clean’s quality expectations and client satisfaction requirements
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces including desks, countertops, windowsills, light fixtures, door handles, and other frequently touched areas throughout each assigned facility during every scheduled cleaning visit

- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all restroom fixtures, surfaces, and fittings including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, partitions, and all touch-point surfaces to a high hygiene standard during every scheduled service
- Monitoring supply inventory levels for restroom and break area consumables and reporting low stock needs to supervisors in a timely manner to prevent service gaps or client dissatisfaction
- Ensuring break rooms, lunchrooms, and shared kitchen areas are cleaned, wiped down, and left in a sanitary and organized condition following each cleaning visit
Waste Management & Recycling
- Collecting, sorting, and disposing of trash and recyclables from designated bins and containers throughout all assigned facility areas, ensuring proper waste separation and compliance with local waste management guidelines
- Transporting waste and recycling bags to the appropriate external disposal areas, bins, or collection points at each client facility in accordance with the property’s waste management schedule and procedures
- Ensuring waste bins and recycling stations are religned with fresh bags after emptying and left clean, odor-free, and properly positioned for continued use by facility occupants
- Maintaining awareness of proper waste handling protocols and contributing to responsible, environmentally conscious waste disposal practices at all SD Pro Clean client locations
Safety Compliance & Accident Prevention
- Following all established workplace health and safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents, injuries, or incidents involving cleaning chemicals, wet floors, or equipment operation
- Using all cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment safely, responsibly, and in accordance with WHMIS guidelines, manufacturer instructions, and SD Pro Clean’s internal safety protocols at all times
- Placing appropriate wet floor signage and safety barriers in areas being cleaned to protect facility occupants and visitors from slip-and-fall hazards during mopping and floor care operations
- Reporting any safety concerns, facility hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment problems observed during cleaning assignments promptly to the SD Pro Clean supervisor or client contact
